Harrison Crawford Grotto<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

HCG is a local chapter of the National Speleological Society (aka a Grotto!)<\/em> HCG was founded in 1988, we represent organized cavers from Harrison, Crawford, and surrounding counties. We promote safe caving techniques and minimal impact caving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HCG exists to serve as a community hub and educational resource for existing and future cavers, as well as promoting and protecting caves and karst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Monthly meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of every month, starting at 6:30 PM. They are currently held at Indiana Caverns right outside Corydon, Indiana. Our meetings consist of business and socializing, followed by a “meeting after the meeting” at a local restaurant. All are welcome, regardless of background or experience!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
